The best way to start your baptism journey is to come along to any of our services and say hello.
If you live in Hengoed or Gobowen, it's usually possible to be baptised at All Saints. If you don't live in Hengoed or Gobowen you would have to show a connection, and a baptism could only go ahead if the vicar in the parish where you live gave permission.
The baptism of babies and young children take place during an informal all-age service at our 11am Sunday Services. Guests coming to the service who are not used to church often find this more user-friendly. So a great first step is to come along to one of the services and say hello.
We run preparation sessions before the baptism to give you confidence in the promises you are making and to help you to understand the promises you are making as you continue to explore and grow in your faith. And as part of your preparation we encourage you to start your family routines of being part of the family of God in local church life.
For older children and adults who want to be baptised, a lengthier preparation is usual.
The baptism service, and the promises you will be making, can be viewed on the Church of England website.

“Go and make disciples of all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” ”
