2 Corinthians 8:9

"You know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sake he became poor, so that you through his poverty might become rich."

God has shown immense generosity to us in our Lord Jesus Christ. In thankfulness, Christians give to support one another, support the work of the church and support its mission to the world.

Giving can be in many forms and some of us will be giving sacrificially in non-financial ways. We are very thankful for each and every act of service given. As vicar, I hope never to know what any individual gives, but I encourage us all to follow the apostle Paul’s instruction to be cheerful and under no compulsion in our giving (2 Cor 9:7). It is my prayer that as a church we can support our needs through the generosity of our regular members as we hold out the word of life to our community.

Further information about our finances is available each year at our Stewardship Sunday and annual meeting (APCM). In the meantime, please get in touch with us. If you would like to join in partnership with us and support us financially then there are a few ways to do so:

Regular Giving

If you give regularly, we recommend setting up a direct debit through the Lichfield Diocese Giving Direct Scheme. Any money given comes directly and entirely to the church but the diocese kindly manages the administration.

Give online

To give a one off donation, you can use the diocesan online giving form below. Simply click on the button below, follow the form and on the second page please select “Gobowen All Saints” as the church to receive your donation.

Giving at Services

At each of our services there is an opportunity to give as part of our worship in thankfulness to God. If you are a current taxpayer, please speak to Lindsay Ritchie (Treasurer) about how to make a Gift Aid declaration for your donation.
